The most important service for the individual and the family is the weekly Sacrament meeting. It takes place on Sundays in chapel and lasts about 70 minutes. Guests are cordially welcome. Every Sacrament meeting is a family service with the children being included.
The service has the following elements:
- Hymns: All members of the congregation sing hymns.
- Prayers: Are said by local members of the Church.
- The blessing and passing of the Sacrament: The Sacrament (consisting of the emblems of bread and water) is passed to members of the congregation.
- Speakers: Normally, there are two or three assigned speakers in a meeting who address gospel topics supported by scriptural references.
- No collection is taken in services or Church meetings
